Manually enrolling into our MDM

As you didn’t get the notification, we can use another method to try enroll your device.

  • First we are going to log into Slack. In Safari you will need to go to: square.enterprise.slack.com where you will be prompted to set up Okta.

Enter your username, click Next then your newly created password, and click Verify

If you have set up Okta previously, you can skip forward and log in normally

You will be prompted to Set Up Security Methods

Click Set Up for Okta Verify - we will set up a security key later but not right now!

Open the Okta Verify app on your mobile device and follow the instructions to add your account

When prompted, tap Scan a QR Code then scan the QR code on your browser with your mobile device and allow push notifications when prompted

On the next screen we will click Set up later when asked to set up a Security Key

After completing Okta setup you can open the appropriate Slack Workspace.

  • Next, in Safari you will need to go to this website: go.sqprod.co/mdmold
  • Once you get there you will be prompted to log in using Okta again. Enter the same login information you just used and Send a Push when prompted.
  • After logging in you will be presented with a screen asking you to Enable Device Management. Click on Redirect and Enable
  • When prompted by Safari to allow downloads, click Allow

  • macOS will prompt you with a notification for Profile Installation. You will need to open System Settings to complete the installation.

  • You can find System Settings by clicking the Apple logo on the top left corner of the screen.
  • After opening up System Settings, click on the search bar on the top left and search for Profiles.
  • Click the Profiles button in the search option.
  • Click Install when asked to install the Workspace Services profile.
  • Enter your laptop password when prompted.
  • After several seconds, you should see the Device Manager profile show that your device has been verified.
