Open & sign into Slack

Open Slack

Use Spotlight (magnifying glass icon in the top-right corner) to search for and open the Slack app.

Allow access to Downloads

If prompted, click OK to give Slack access to your Downloads folder.

Sign in with Block, Inc.

Click Sign in with Block, Inc. — a Chrome window will open.

Sign in with Block SSO

Click Sign in with Block SSO. This will open an Okta window where you can authenticate.

Open Slack

Click Open Slack when Chrome asks to open the app.

Slack didn't open?
If Slack doesn't open in the app the first time, go back and click Sign in again within the Slack app and try a second time.
You're on Slack!

If it's your first day, consider messaging your lead to let them know you're online.
