Windows Updates
Important: Please ensure you run Windows Updates to install all necessary updates. It is crucial for all updates to be completed, as they will download the necessary tools you need to use the Windows computer. For example, it will download Okta Verify, Google Chrome, and Slack. Additionally, it will download the necessary security certificates required to access our internal tools.
- Click on the Windows icon in the taskbar.
- Locate and select the Settings icon.
- Scroll down to the Windows Update option in the left sidebar.
- Click “Check for Updates” and run the Windows Update.
- Restart your computer to complete the update process.
You can confirm the Windows Updates are completed by heading over to the Windows Updates settings again, clicking Check for Updates, and seeing it say “You’re up to date.”
